Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-13
This policy explains what data Raseen ("we") collects through its software and the Raseen app on Meta platforms (Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp), how we use it, and how to have it deleted. Raseen makes business software for shops in Iraq, including Raseen Orders, which lets a shop answer its customers' messages and turn them into orders.
Who is who
Our users are businesses (shops) that connect their own Facebook Page, Instagram professional account or WhatsApp Business number to Raseen. The people who message those businesses are the business's customers. For customer messages the business decides what is done with them; we process them on the business's behalf and only to provide the service.
What we collect
- From the business, when it connects an account with Facebook Login for Business: the list of Pages and Instagram accounts it chooses to connect (their IDs and names), WhatsApp Business account and phone number IDs, and the access tokens Meta issues for them.
- Messages sent to the connected accounts: the sender's platform-scoped ID (PSID, Instagram-scoped ID or WhatsApp phone number), the text of messages, and references to images or voice notes the customer sends. Replies sent by the business or by the assistant are stored with them.
- Order details the customer gives in the chat, such as name, phone number and delivery address, when the business records them as an order.
- Account data in the software: user names of the business's staff and the shop's own records (items, prices, orders, invoices).
We do not request or read personal Facebook profiles, friends lists, posts, or any data unrelated to the connected business accounts.
How we use it
- To show the business its conversations in one inbox and let it reply.
- To generate suggested or automatic replies about the business's own products, prices and availability, when the business turns this on.
- To let the business record an order from a conversation.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix faults.
We do not sell data, use it for advertising, build profiles of customers, or share it with data brokers. Data from one business is never shown to another.
Service providers
To produce automatic replies, the text of recent messages (and an image or voice note when the customer sends one) is sent to an AI model provider — Google (Gemini API) and, as a fallback, OpenRouter — which returns the reply. They process it to generate the reply only. Our servers and network are provided by Cloudflare and our hosting provider. Messages are delivered through Meta's own platforms.
How long we keep it
- Access tokens are stored encrypted and are deleted immediately when the business disconnects the channel.
- A conversation is deleted automatically 90 days after its last message; long conversations keep only their most recent 200 messages.
- Images and voice notes are not stored: we keep only Meta's reference and fetch the file when a reply is prepared.
- Orders a business records become part of that business's own records and are kept while its account is active.
- When a business closes its account, its data is deleted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.
Your choices and deletion
See Data Deletion Instructions. You can also write to info@raseen.cc to ask what data we hold about you or to have it corrected or deleted.
Security
Connections use HTTPS, access tokens are encrypted at rest, each business's data is isolated from every other business, and staff accounts have their own permissions.
Children
The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13.

We will post any change on this page and update the date below.
